Sunday, June 3, 2018 C-6, Lower Bicutan, Taguig, Metro Manila, Philippines

In this world where happy tummy and good destination is a must, comes a new place appealing to our appetite for both food and scenery.

With this in mind, the City Government of Taguig established the Mercado Del Lago or Market by the Lake, a floating food park located along C6 Road, Lower Bicutan in Taguig.  The place is specifically made for tourist to experience the "Probinsyudad" vibe the house city could offer to the entire NCR as they preserved the urban/rural setting of their side of Laguna de Bay.

Some of the attractions you can already found here are the nipa hut floating restaurant, biking and jogging areas, specialized food stalls court with 500 seating capacity.

Since the place is still under construction, it's expected that in few months time, outdoor cinema, children's playground, souvenir shop and area for fishing, boating, wall climbing and skating can soon be enjoyed here. (Thanks Kuyang Staff for these sneak peeks 😁) It has a total of 5000 sqm area and with 100 plus parking slot for vehicles. (I'll surely return to this place once it's fully done!)

How to get there?

From EDSA (Southbound): Ride a bus going to SM Bicutan. Drop off SM Bicutan Exit of SLEX. Cross the footbridge to DOST. Look for a white tricycle (fare is P8). Alight Jollibee Lower Bicutan. Cross the intersection head to C6. Walk straight to Mercado Del Lago.

From Pasig: Ride a jeepney from Pasig Simbahan or Palengke going  to Bicutan. Then drop off Lower Bicutan. Cross the intersection head to C6. Walk straight to Mercado Del Lago.

From Laguna, Sucat or Muntinlupa: Ride a bus going  to EDSA (make sure to ride to a bus that will pass the Bicutan exit of SLEX). Drop off Bicutan then cross the footbridge to DOST. Look for a white tricycle (fare is P8). Alight Jollibee Lower Bicutan. Cross the intersection head to C6. Walk straight to Mercado Del Lago.

Still partially done but is already so inviting. I'm sure you won't miss this for the world!

Thank you for dropping by. Appreciate it!

    1. It's actually kinda crowded already. Like when we got there, super hirap maghanap ng table. We had to wait for minutes. Maybe because it's new pa. Siguro mga 2 weeks pa, less crowded na sya. Haha

  3. Maganda yung place. Masarap din yung mga pagkain. Thou hindi pa sya fully constructed. But it's a nice place for a barkada gala or family bonding.
